The center has a research and development building of 2385.6 square meters, equipped with various specifications of scientific research equipment, including a large number of gas chromatographs, high performance liquid chromatographs, sulfur and chlorine element analyzers, atomic absorption spectrometers, ICP inductively coupled ion spectrometers, Lovibond colorimeter, melting point meter, particle size analyzer, moisture analyzer, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, etc., gas laboratory equipped with special gas pipelines, special laboratory for toxic drugs, multi-tank series reaction research system, etc. .

The center has gathered and cultivated a team of academic leaders with high professional level, good overall quality and strong innovation ability. "Jiahua Energy Green Chemical Technology R&D Innovation Team" was selected as the key enterprise technology innovation team of Jiaxing City in 2011. It has been engaged in the company's green organic synthesis technology research and in-depth research on energy conservation and emission reduction for a long time, and has achieved fruitful results.

In the past three years, the center has taken the lead in the declaration of 29 national patents (including 11 invention patents), and 25 have been authorized, covering 5 major industrial chains of caustic soda, thermoelectricity, sulfuric acid, ortho-para position and fatty alcohol. The center has applied for and undertaken a number of provincial and municipal science and technology plan projects and new product trial production plans by means of independent research and development or a combination of production, education and research, and participated in the revision of some national standards.
